Amrita Bhoomi has initiated a 1 year hand holding process with a cohort of 30 small local farmers to change to natural farming. We are very happy to see many women and youth, including adivasi women from neighboring villages, have joined this course
The farmers went through an interview and application process before being selected for this program.
The cohort arrives at Amrita Bhoomi every month, where a successful natural farmer shares knowledge about their own innovations and model in natural farming.
so far courses have been conducted by Mr Rajashekhar Nimbargi of north Karnataka. Mr Kumaraswamy from Nelamangala , who is an expert vegetable farmer has also conducted a hands on course in his vegetable production mode.
